MHABC Hires New Executive Director

It is with great pleasure that we announce the appointment of Sukh Johal as the new Executive Director of the Manufactured Housing Association of BC (MHABC). Sukh brings a wealth of experience and expertise to our organization, and we are confident that he will be an exceptional addition to our team.

Sukh joins us with an impressive background, serving as the Executive Director of the Western Wood Truss Association of British Columbia since November 2018. In his previous role, Sukh successfully carried out the association’s goals and objectives, working closely with the board of directors to promote the aims of the organization. His leadership in organizing official association meetings, overseeing quality certification programs, and planning annual conferences for members and others has been instrumental in advancing the industry.

Prior to his position at the Western Wood Truss Association, Sukh served as the Technical Manager as well as the Midrise & Tall Wood Technical Lead at the Canadian Wood Council. His extensive knowledge and experience in the field make him well-equipped to contribute to the growth and development of the MHABC.

We are thrilled to welcome Sukh to our team and are confident that his leadership and dedication will bring about positive changes for our association. As we look to the future, Sukh’s expertise will be invaluable in advancing our goals and furthering our mission.

Additionally, on behalf of the Manufactured Housing Association of BC (MHABC), I would like to take this opportunity to express our heartfelt gratitude to Gord Rattray for his dedicated service as the outgoing Executive Director. Throughout his tenure, Gord has demonstrated exceptional leadership, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment within the MHABC. His tireless efforts and strategic vision have helped shape the organization into what it is today. We are truly grateful for the positive impact he has made on our industry and wish him all the best in his future endeavors.
