The Manufactured Housing Association of British Columbia (MHABC) is a member-driven association and the leading advocate for those within the residential manufactured housing industry. Together, we are increasing industry awareness and expanding the adoption of modular housing programs into communities throughout our province.

Membership Categories
Retailer Member
Annual Fee: $300 per retail location
Voting Rights: 1 vote per paid location at the AGM
Includes:
Business listing for each paid location on the Member Directory webpage
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 show homes to be on display
- Registered business with a valid business license
- At least 2 year experience within the manufactured housing industry
- Must comply with local, provincial, federal regulations
- Proof of Liability Insurance
Manufacturer Member
Annual Fee: $300/yr
Voting Rights: 1 vote at the AGM
Business Listing: 1 listing on the Member Directory webpage
Requirements:
- Registered CSA Certification for factory-built homes
- Demonstrated quality assurance process
- Proof of financial stability
- Must provide a minimum 1–10-year warranty via the sales agreement with the retailer or directly with the customer
- Monthly shipping volume reporting is required and will be discussed after application submission
Transportation Member
Annual Fee: $200/yr
Voting Rights: 1 vote at the AGM
Includes:
- Business listing on Member Directory webpage
Requirements:
- Registered transportation company specializing in manufactured home transport
- Experience transporting and placing manufactured homes
- Valid transportation license, insurance, and permits (Cargo Insurance, Liability Insurance, National Safety Code Certification)
Associate Member
Annual Fee: $150/yr Voting Rights: Yes
Open To:
Businesses or individuals providing industry-related services (financing, insurance, landscaping, set-up, etc.)
Includes:
- Business listing on Member Directory webpage
Requirements:
- Express a shared interest with MHABC and uphold the association’s standards and ethics
- Associate Members participate in governance and have voting rights
Affiliate Member
Annual Fee: $150/yr Voting Rights: None
Open To:
Individuals or businesses who want to stay informed and attend MHABC events, but do not wish to vote or participate in governance.
